Once again, this is going to be short. I'm pooped and haven't quite recovered from this weekend. The benefit dinner was a success--we raised approximately $4,000! That will get us through the next month or so. :} Needless to say, we have a couple of big things to pay pretty soon. Thanks to all who were involved: the helpers, the donors of auction items, donors of funds, dinner guests, raffle ticket supporters, the church venue, the caterer...the list goes on! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It couldn't have happened with out you.
Our Guiding Eyes for the Blind puppy that we had raised (Vangie,) went up to NY to be tested. She passed and is now going to start the harness training! After several months, she'll be matched with a blind partner and start her new life. I am so proud of her!
Now we begin on the stack of stuff.

Woohoo on Vangie!!! That is awesome! And, of course, I am very excited about the money you raised. Once again, I would like to say how very proud I am of you. It was a big undertaking, and you did it!
